Stop Transit Cuts

Each year, Miami-Dade County adopts a county-wide budget for the following fiscal year. The proposed 2017-2018 budget calls for up to $25 million in budget cuts to Miami-Dade County transit services. The results of these cuts will be reduced transit service hours, route eliminations, poorer frequencies, and compromised maintenance at a time when increased and improved transit service is critical.

Transit Alliance is leading a campaign against the proposed budget cuts. For years, transit has been identified as a major county priority and it must be funded as such. Further disinvestment in our mass transit services jeopardizes our county's viability and livability.
